Will dinner be provided? To match our reception-style format, there won’t be a formal seated dinner. The goal is to encourage mingling and socializing throughout the evening. However, we will be serving a variety of delicious, gourmet appetizers throughout the event, so you'll definitely be well-fed!

What should I wear for the event? There isn’t an ‘official’ dress code! That said, a James Bond-themed party is a fantastic excuse to dress to impress. 

  • For men, channel James Bond-inspired style with tuxedos, dark suits or jackets, or accessories like bow ties and cufflinks. Creativity is welcome too—consider imitating iconic Bond characters, villains, or sidekicks. 

  • For women, think Bond Girl style via elegant gowns or little black dresses. A touch of glamour, like sequins or a bold color, is a fun take, too. 

At the end of the day, comfort is key, so come in your best cocktail attire—but know creativity is always encouraged. :)

How will this event benefit the school? All proceeds from The Nursery Royale will go toward The Playground Enhancement Fund, which provides essential safety updates and enhancements to our school playground starting this summer. What can I expect from the evening? The night promises to be a fun, interactive experience filled with opportunities to mix and mingle with other WCCNS parents. In addition to good company, you’ll enjoy bar stations featuring signature cocktails and gourmet bites. We’ve partnered with a professional casino company to bring you casino games with live dealers. There will also be a silent auction and a brief program showcasing the proposed playground enhancements. For extra enjoyment, a cigar roller will be on-site, and the MN State Hockey Tournament will be streaming throughout the event. Feel free to come and go as you please!

My plus one can’t come—can I attend solo? Yes, please! We highly encourage you to come out, regardless of whether you’re stag or with someone. Once you’re there, you’ll be in the best of company!

Where should I park? Complimentary valet parking is available at the club (tipping is recommended). Additionally, there is a self-serve parking lot for your convenience.

I’m unable to attend the event—are there other ways to support it? Yes, absolutely! While you will be missed, there are three great ways to still contribute to making it a great event:

This is our last year at the school. Since my kids won’t benefit from the playground, why should we contribute/attend? We understand where you’re coming from! What we’d say is families before you donated so your kids could benefit from the great offerings of the school while you were here—so it’s a wonderful way to pay it forward. Plus, it’s a great opportunity to connect with other WCCNS families and celebrate the community that made your time here so special.
